Royal Guard Slogan Winner! |

Hear ye, hear ye! Let it be known that a winner has been chosen for the Royal Guard Slogan Challenge!
Late last month, gentlefolk from all over Sosaria were challenged to design a slogan for the Royal Britannian Guard. Couriers quickly flooded the royal halls with well over 1400 submissions! Multitudes of Britannians hoped to win the coveted custom sashes, tailored by the King痴 own staff. Some believed their slogan embodied the true nature of the Royal Guard, and it was they who would win the engraved shield that was the grand prize. Many simply enjoyed the thrill of competition.
From among all the submissions, fifteen finalists were chosen. Ballot boxes were placed, one for each finalist, in the Throne Room of Castle British in Trammel on Test Sosaria. Every character was allowed one vote per finalist, and the one with the highest number of 殿ye votes would be the grand winner. We praise the creators of each of the following finalist slogans for their efforts, and award them each with a special blessed sash, custom-hued and labeled with 滴erald for the Royal Guard.膿^^- To protect the citizens and uphold the Virtues of Britannia (by Lazzlo of Atlantic)^

^^But now, the voting is closed, the ballot boxes removed, and the winner decided. By decree of the King, with a total number of 1397 votes, this is now the official slogan of the Royal Britannian Guard:^^May Truth be my sword, Courage my shield, and Love guide them both ^^Congratulations to Govannon Mac Lyr of Chesapeake for creating this winning slogan!
This slogan and name will be inscribed upon a custom-hued shield and placed for all to see in the Throne Room of Castle British in the Trammel facet of all fifteen shards supported by the Event Moderator team. Further, the winner will also be given a similar blessed shield, including the same custom hue and engraving, which may be used as a home decoration.
We wish to thank everyone for their participation. We congratulate all finalists for their efforts, and salute Govannon Mac Lyr for creating the new official slogan of the Royal Britannian Guard: 溺ay Truth be my sword, Courage my shield, and Love guide them both.
